Summer flying events bring aviators of all types, from all walks of life who share their passion for flying while enjoying the hospitality and recreational facilities of The Florida Keys at Footlight Ranch.
Each year new faces join the old-timers to compete in skill flying and to tell tall tales during the Father's Day Ultralight Fly-in.

The Labor Day Week-end Fly-in is the season finale and hosts all sorts of flying machines. Open to all aviators, it brings a fitting close to the summer; the "Last Chance" to enjoy the fun and entertainment of Shreveport North at Footlight Ranch.
But that's not all. Shreveport North is also a "planned" Aviation Community, offering the opportunity to live with your airplane in your front yard. Today, visitors will see the first home - that of Shreveport North's hosts, John and Olga Shreve - with John's vintage Cessna 195 parked "out front". A dream-come-true for pilots - an idea who's time has come.
